A miracle of Love

Grunt and Grace are watching TV.

– There is nothing better than this, says Grunty.
– There is, replies Grace.
– What?
– Watching TV with our child.

– Darling, you know that we can’t have children.
– That’s what doctors say, but we can try some magic.
– Hmm, if you want…

The next day Grunty and Grace are at Sylvencia’s place. The witch looks into the cristal ball.

– You must go to Tree of Wishes and ask for a baby, she says.

– Where is this tree? asks Grace.
– In Enchanted Forest.
– How to find it?
– Behind my house there are small mountains. Pigcorn lives there, starts Sylvencia.
– Really? He lives so close?
– Yes, but he avoids the company of pigs. However, if you find him, he will tell you where this tree is. But bring him some healthy sweets.

– Thank you Sylvencia, says the couple.
The pigs climb up the mountains. It is not easy. Finallly they see sleepy Pigcorn.

– Excuse me sir, whispers Grace.
– Who is disturbing me? I want to meditate! mutters Pigcorn.
– Sylvencia sent us here, please take some sweets, continues Grace.
Pigcorn eats the sweets and asks:
– Ok, what do you want to know?
– Tell us please where Tree of Wishes is! says Grunty.
– Behind this mountain there is Enchanted Forest. The tree grows in it.
– But how can we find it?
– Somebody will help you, if your wish can come true, says Pigcorn and closes his eyes to meditate.

Grace and Grunty climb down and get to Enchanted Forest. They meet Frail there.

– Hello Frail, what are you doing here? asks Grace.
– I am picking magic mushrooms, answers Frail.
– What for?
– For Percius, my friend. And you?
– We are looking for Tree of Wishes. Do you know, where it is?
– Yes, I will take you there, says Frail.
The pigs find the tree.
– Wow, this tree is beautiful, says Grunty.
– On no, we don’t know how to make the wish and Frail is gone, worries Grace.

The tree can hear it and sends a bee to them. The bee buzzes:
– Tune your wish to the rustle of the tree.
– Thank you! cry the pigs.
The pigs tune:
– Dear Tree, we wish to have a baby!
– Shhhh, go home and look in the garden for your baby, shhhh, rustles the tree.
– Thank you very much! cry the pigs.
Grace can’t wait to see her baby.
– Quick, quick, let’s run home! she shouts.
They look for the baby and find it under a big leaf.

– This is our love. Her name is Love, says Grace delighted.
– Beautiful name for a beautiful piglet, says Grunty.
They take the baby home and put her in bed. They go to sleep together.

Suddenly there is a knock on the door. It is Pigcorn with a fairy.

– Hello, surprise! he exclaims.
– You? Here? Not in the mountains?
– This fairy is for your baby. She is from the mountains. She is looking for somebody to protect. So I brought her here.

– Thank you Pigcorn, thank you Fairy! The parents are moved.
– My name is Agnes, says the fairy.
– Welcome to our family Agnes, say Grace and Grunty in one voice.
Then the pigs celebrate together.
Since then Love has got her own fairy.
