Pepi and the tigers

Pepi is a little piglet from Snoutland who has no parents and lives in a small child care home. She is very lonely and she has no one to play with. The other children laugh at her funny nose. She is very sad every day. She usually plays allone with her ball.

One afternoon she takes her ball and runs away to the forest. She can’t stand her life any more.

She meets… two little tigers there. She doesn’t know that tigers are dangerous. The little tigers are friendly so she starts playing with them.

They are having fun when suddenly tigers’ father goes out of a bush. He is very angry. He wants to hunt Pepi. He is jumping towards her.

Pepi runs away. She is running very fast through the forest and gets to Gruntland. Suddenly she trips and falls down in front of the hedge around Nelly and Arnold’s house.

Nelly is surprised. She helps Pepi to stand up. She asks who she is. They talk for a long time about the dangers in the forest. Then they talk about Pepi’s life. Nelly feels sorry for little Pepi. She takes her home, feeds her and lets her sleep over. She calls the child care home and tells them not to worry.

Nelly talks to Arnold, her husband and to Cygnet, their daughter. They decide to adopt Pepi. Pepi is delighted. She is going to have a mother and father and a sister! They are all very happy!
