Zdzislav’s story continues

Zdzislav has been very excited since the morning. He knew he would meet his friends or even his family in Gruntland. He packed all his clothes which he had. He didn’t know what to wear – whether to take a silver hat or an orange hat to look more easy-going as he was shy in fact. He decided to take both.

After he had packed everything he flew to Gruntland by plane.
There were many people at the airport and he was scared of it. But he had read a lot about the airports on the Internet, how to behave there. So he knew when to check in and leave his luggage; when to go to the security check and what objects were forbidden on the plane; how to find the right gate etc. He managed at the airport with ease.

Zdzislav was scared a lot of taking off but he fought his fear and could enjoy the beautiful views from above. When he landed he was proud of himself that he hadbravely beared his first flight.

He got to Gruntland from the airport by taxi. He didn’t know where to go. How to find the family hidden deep in the forest?
At the edge of the forest suddenly he saw another wild boar – Luc. He started talking to him faintly. Luc appeared to be very friendly and talkative. How surprised Zdzislav was when it turned out that Luc knew his mother and was his cousin, because his mum was Luc’s aunt! What a fortunate coincidence.

Zdzislav was very moved that he could meet other family members. Wild boars chose simple life, they didn’t want to live in civilization like pigs. For Zdzislav everything was very new as he had grown up among people.
He was warmly welcomed in the huts belonging to wild boars. At the beginning he was very shy and talked about himself just a little. Soon he understood he was amongst his own and told them his story.

When Zdzislav’s mum, called by Luc, arrived to Luc’s hut they both put their own eyes out. Mum was very happy that Zdzislav had survived. She couldn’t forget him and forgive herself she had left him when they were escaping from the bad people.  Deep down she believed she would see him sometime. They decided to meet regularly.

When Zdzislav met his siblings, they couldn’t get enough of talking. He wanted to know everything about his brothers and sisters and they wanted to know about him.

Wild boars treated Zdzislav with acorns, mushrooms, roots and beechnuts. Zdzislav never liked them as he ate different things among the people. It turned out he… loved acorns. That was a magical day.

The next day Zdzislav was to visit the pigs in Gruntland, as wild boars told him they were on good terms with them and pigs were very curious of the visit of such an unusual guest.

To be continued.
