One day when Hippie was eating breakfast, she decided to go somewhere. Elvis had gone to Curly Tails to visit his parents – grandma Sweet and grandpa Big. Hippie thought that it was a good idea to go to the seaside. That was a spontaneous decision. She needed some rest.
She had only her bicycle because Elvis had taken their car, so she decided to cycle.
It was a very long tavel but she was very strong and well equipped.
When she got to the seaside, she was very tired. She decided to get some rest on the beach.
The seashore was beautiful and the weather was sunny. When she was lying on the hot sand, suddenly she saw penguins. There were three of them. She thought she had hallucinations.
– Penguins on the beach?! she talked to herself. Maybe I see strange things because of the heat?
Then she saw humans talking to the penguins.
– I’m not crazy, they are really here, she thought.
She decided to come a little closer to hear what they were talking about.
– Can you help us? asked one of the penguins.
– We are in very big trouble, said the other.
– Why are you here? Shouldn’t you be on Antarctic? asked one human.
– Yes, but our glaciers are melting, we are loosing our homeland. It is hard to live there.
– Why is it happening? asked another human.
– Because of climate changes, answered one of the penguins. Whom should we ask for help? You, people are ruining the climate.
– But what can we do, we are just common people, said one human.
– You can talk to your president, or somebody.
– Would you come with us? asked the other human.
– Ok, we can go, agreed the penguins, but will they allow us to meet the president?
– When penguins themselves come to him, he should take such visit, said one human excitedly.
– Having such amazing guests, can be beneficial for our town, said the third human.
– You can talk to the president of our town, he can talk to the president of our country and she can talk to the president of UNO, said the third human.
– It is a very great idea, agreed the penguins.
When the penguins said that the humans led them to their president.
That was a very great event in this little seaside town. A lot of people watched and cheered.
Hippie was very moved with that scene. She relaxed on the beach till the evening.
Suddenly she saw her friend from Gruntland – Hellen…
