One day Kermit and Belly went for a trip because they wanted to do something crazy. They were a little bit bored. They traveled with a human by bike. The pigs from Gruntland seldom meet people but Kermit and Belly have got one human friend.
The journey was scary because they sat in a backpack on the bicycle rack. But it was exciting!
Kermit and Belly left the human at a river. They crossed the river on a bridge because there was a nice meadow on the other side. There they had a picnic.
They ate tomatoes and cucumbers for the picnic. Then they watched the clouds and imagined different stories in the sky.
On the way back the pigs hitchhiked. A human stopped. Kermit and Belly hesitated because they didn’t know that person but they got in.
The driver was a woman. Kermit and Belly spoke with her about living in the human world. She said it was interesting but difficult. Kermit and Belly said that in the pig world it was calm and safe but pigs had two enemies – tigers and wolves.
Tigers and wolves are wild, dangerous and sometimes hunt pigs. Belly’s father was eaten by a wolf.
At home Kermit and Belly thought that it was interesting and they should travel like that more often.
