It is Wednesday. Pinky, Ghosty, Strawberry and Vanilla wake up.
– It is our birthday! shouts Vanilla.
– Happy birthday! they wish to each other.
The piglets go to the kitchen.
– It is our birthday! they shout. The parents are busy cooking.
– Yes, we know, they say and continue.
The piglets are surprised. No presets, no wishes… Why?
– Let’s go to Reindy, Reinding and Reindie, says Vanilla.
The friends are at the river.
– Hi Guys, what are you doing? asks Pinky.
– We are swimming, answers Reindie.
– But it is cold, says Pinky.
– This is cold water swimming, says Reinding.
– Wow!
– Look, nice stones, says Ghosty.
– Don’t touch them! shouts Reindie.
– Why?
– We can’t tell you.
– They are strange today, whispers Vanilla. Let’s go somewhere else, says Vanilla.
Nearby they meet Jingle and Fitty.
– Hi, what are you doing? asks Strawberry.
– We are picking mulberry, sorry we are busy.
– That’s not kind, whispers Vanilla.
The piglets are sad. They go further.
On the way they see Bottly and Hairy. They are also picking something.
– Hi, let’s play together! says Strawberry.
– Sorry, we can’t, answers Bottly. We are picking herbs for our mother.
Disappointed piglets got further.
– Let’s visit Artie, Scamp and Scotty, says Vanilla.
– Ok, maybe they want to play with us, agrees Pinky.
– Hello guys, let’s play, says Ghosty.
– Sorry, we are busy, says Scamp.
– What ar you doing?
– Carving, answers Artie.
– Can we learn? ask the piglets.
– There is no more wood, sorry, maybe next time, say the brothers.
– It is a pity. Let’s go home. Nobody wants to play with us on our birthday, says Vanilla.
Very sad piglets come back home.
In the garden there is a birthday cake and a lot of food on the table – pizza, pancakes, fruit and other cakes.
– Wow! cry the piglets.
– Happy birthday! sing their parents and grandparents.
Suddenly they hear somebody at the garden gate.
– Happy birthday! sing the friends.
The piglets are delighted.
– You are here, cool! they shout.
– These are colourful stones for you, says Reinding.
– These are mulberries for you, says Fitty.
– These are herbs for you, says Bottly.
– These are wooden toys for you, says Artie.
– Happy birthday to you! The friends sing together.
– Now we understand! shout the piglets. Thank you friends!!
Everybody eats and plays.
