How Pepi met Flatty

This is not a story for children, it was written by a teenage girl and is sutitable for teenagers.

One day young adults in Gruntland had a carnival party. They exaggerated with alcohol.
When Pepi was walking back home she felt sick.
“Too much alcohol” she thought and vomited under a tree.

Suddenly a policemen appeared.
– Oh no! What a bad luck, thought Pepi.
– I’m sorry Miss, you will get a fine, said the policeman.
– But, what for? asked Pepi.
– For polluting the park, he answered.

– Do you mean this? asked Pepi and pointed to the ground.
The policeman made a face of disguist.
– Yes, I mean this.
– But it is natural, it will decompose, said Pepi.
“Clever response“, thought the policeman but he said:
It doesn’t matter, I have to fine you.
– I refuse to accept the fine, shouted Pepi still a bit drunk.
The policeman sighed,
– So this case will get to the court.
He called his partner and the second policeman appeared. They took Pepi’s details.

Then the policemen escorted Pepi home, because it was late.
In the morning Pepi woke up and thought, she had a strange dream and she liked the policeman in it.
How surprised she was when that policeman called and asked her to come to the police station for questioning.
– Oh no, this is real and I will meet this nice policeman! she thought.
At the same time she worried what she did as she didn’t remember it.
Next day Pepi went to the police station.

– Good morning, she said and her heart started to beat faster when she saw the handsome policeman. He also behaved strangely. He asked her if she remembered last night.
– I remember you, she said and blushed. I thought it was a dream when I woke up.
The policeman started to play with his pen nervously.
– Do you remember what you did? he asked.
– No, she answered. I think I got a fine, but what for?
– You were drunk and you vomited under a tree.
– Did I? Pepi blushed again. I am so sorry!
– You didn’t accept the fine and that is why I called you. You are sober now so I am asking you again: Do you accept the fine?
– No, said Pepi.
– May I ask why?
– I have no money to pay it, she confessed and put her head down.
– Have you got a job?
– I am looking for a job.
– Have you got a boyfriend?
Pepi’s eyes widened.
– No, why?!
The policeman started to stutter.
– Ugh… You could borrow the money from him. If you don’t pay, you will go to the court and pay even more.
– Oh no, what can I do now?! Pepi panicked.
– If you go with me to a caffe, I will give you some advice, as me, not a policeman.
– I will! shouted Pepi so happy that he invited her out.
– So, accept the fine, please, said the policeman happily.
– Ok, said Pepi and signed the piece of paper.
