In a cafe Pepi and the policeman Flatty have ordered some coffee and cake.
– So, what is your advice to me? asked Pepi. How can I pay the fine?
– Ugh, Will you be my girlfriend? suddenly exclaimed Flatty.
– Whhhat?! Pepi’s eyes widened. Is that why you invited me here?
– Yes and no.
– ??? I don’t understand.
– I thought that I could lend you the money to pay the fine but… it is because I like you and I would like to go out with you.
Pepi was happy but she didn’t want to show it right away.
– I will consider it, she answered. I thought you would offer me a job.
Flatty lost his courage but he didn’t give up.
– I can do it, he said thinking quickly what job it could be.
– Cool, what would it be?
Fortunately a great idea came to Flatty’s mind.
– I have a garden and I have no time to work in it. Spring is coming and it needs a spring clearing. Would you like to do it?
– Yes of course, shouted Pepi happily. She liked plants.
– Cool, answered Flatty relieved. He was glad that this way he would meet Pepi again. She felt the same about him.
– When shall I start? she asked.
– It depends on you.
– The weather is fine, so what about Monday?
– Fine, said Flatty.
They spend the rest of the time talking about the garden and other things that they liked or disliked doing. The date was quite succesfull.
